Alcohol is killing you

Alcohol is killing you? Naa not really unless you are drinking every day.

In Chester le Street:

I was recently having a well earned mid week beer with my old pops and we were frequenting a pretty rough looking pub.  This pub is at one end of CLS and is renowned for being a bit rough around the edges.

The people in this pub are all probably lovely salt of the earth types however when i was looking around with the eye of a personal trainer i noticed a key similarity.

Most of these folks i guess spend a lot of days day time drinking and because of this they all looked really unwell.  It wasn't that they where all fat, more noticeable was really bad skin, hair, eyes, posture etc.

Your body simply cannot function if you spend more days consuming alcohol than water.  You need atleast a couple of days after alcohol to clean and detox your liver.

The key here is that your body does not have a storage facility for storing alcohol therefore after any drinking booze your bodies important functions like repairing muscles, building muscle and burning fat all slow or stop.

Alcohol is acidic too and if your body has a higher PH value than neutral it is prone to germs and disease.  Water is neutral most veg is alkali so have more veg and less booze.....simples.

Because the priority for your health and brain is to remove the foreign boozy liquids before normal bodily function returns (homeostasis).

So it's not all bad, and the best thing is that for people who like to exercise and eat well during the week they can let their hair down on the weekend and get smashed....  result.
