100 days challenge - 63lb lost so farPersonal trainer Glenn 100 day challenge
So 50 ish days ago a few of my gym members embarked on a tough challenge. To go to the gym 100 days consecutively in order to build a healthy habit, lose some weight and get fit.
We have provided the facility(ladies at leisure), a basic training plan and a carb cycling nutrition plan. They provide the hard work.
However it takes a lot of motivation and wasn't for everyone as from the six that started we only have four left.
They all have their reasons for taking part in the challenge and that is private to them, the one thing they share is the dedication and will to carry on.
Some are clearly working harder than others and that's up to them too.
They are all just past the half way point, as they are doing so well i thought i would boast a bit on their behalf.
between them they have lost:
63.15 lb of body fat, two of the ladies have lost 20lb roughly each.
and gained:
30lb of lean muscle.
The most important thing here is the huge increase in lean muscle which will increase their metabolism and burn more fat in the future.
With a normal diet half or more of the weight loss can be muscle which slows your metabolism and ensures you will definately get fatter in the future (fact). That's why we call them yo yo diets and why no personal trainer with knowledge sells the diet stuff.
"body by V,herbalife, juice plus" - all not needed, just clean food.
So well done to the 100 days girls keep up the great work.
It's inspiring and those of you sat at home watching your soaps wishing you where thinner, take action now and get your self fit.
