"Control your mind and control your life” Some people, myself included suggest you are what you eat. More prevalent in these tough times is the suggestion that you are what you think. Think bad thoughts - be bad! “Be careful what you tell yourself-because you are listening” Socrates figured out sometime before 470BC, he figured out that gossip was poison for us, therefore he introduced the triple filter test whilst communicating with others…. 1) is it true? 2) is it good? 3) is it useful? If it's a no to any of the above, he wouldn't listen. Imagine the company benefits of this, or the mental health benefits. When your stressing take action, by asking yourself the three questions and then try and put something else into your mind… something positive. Or take a deep breath and repeat a positive affirmation to empty the mind of poison and fill with health and goodness.
Remember we are what we think. Try this method today and continue it every day to create a positive habit by conditioning your thoughts.
