Integrity effects your whole life & health - my life and work values. So it would be fair to say I am value driven and wear my values for everyone to see. Wasn't always this way, and I have clearly learned a lot from my few moments of being dishonesty and poor values. Leaving home through a closed window as a child, being bullied in phase 1 & 2 Army training and being knocked out in Army training for somebody else's mistake, being too scared to report blatant bullying as a young soldier and witnessing many other shocking things. These days I can never ever turn a blind eye, basically I always feel its my responsibility to stop unfair behaviour (extreme ownership). Integrity: Or being honest, is probably the most important thing in a job and life, if you don't it effects everything and can literally justify all bad behaviour and send you down the wrong path in work and life / liars always eventually get found out. Enthusiasm: Life certainly is tough and it can sometimes be hard to keep your morale up, try it and make everyone's day around you by being the positive one. Respect for others: Putting others ahead of yourself is awesome, I am no better than anybody and nothing is below me, currently volunteering at a charity and washing pots and cleaning tables - no problem | great charity that helps ex convicts and feeds the most needy. Humility, treat everyone as equals regardless of their histories or life choices, Giving extra: Personal training & coaching, care or retail are jobs and some people treat them as such, I believe in giving my all to everyone. and leaving the world a better place. Teamwork: We are much stronger as a team and can achieve so more than the sum total of our individual efforts. In the military this is essential, it amazes me to see how many individuals don't buy into this and watch while others work. These are my core personal values and I try and employ them every day at work, health coaching and other jobs I do. If you would like to be supported by a value based coach get in touch. I also help build soft skills and mindset strength/ motivation. Get in touch. Glenn's Values |
