Personal Trainer Newcaslte - Glenn Hill
So i was reading a blog from a famous strength and conditioning coach yesterday, you see he has written a book. This fella has been super successfull and trained Rugby/football teams and boxers to achieve great things..he was saying that rather than filling all of his pages he could describe his success in one word....BRUTAL.
And that makes massive sense you see as the results you get are directly linked to the intensity of work you conduct, its old school but has always been a fact. Itrainhard as you know is my company name and the only real way to get great results -itrainsometimes-itrainforamonthineverytwo-itrainnowandthen does not work.
This next bit is why you are not getting your results.
You can guess what i am gonna say here..think of the word that best describes your training. Any of the following or similar will explain the issue here.
- occasional
- sometimes
- sporadic
- half-hearted
- lazily
- procrastinating
- turgid
- passive
- apathetic
- lifeless
- inert
Change your word today...in the forces i would get an annual report and from the early days i would see a word re-occuring....Robust. Amongst other soldiers i am robust and i have lived my life to that one word, as i honestly believe i can do anything i put my mind to and nobody can ever stop me. I believe in myself so much i absolutely love F****ing up, because i can learn from each of these F**k ups. I challenge myself daily because i love it and i am robust. Top of the Army P Coy course at 35 yrs old = "Robust"
Change your mind set today with a new word...i mother ****ing dare you. Below is an just an idea of your new word.......
- Aggressive
- Dynamic
- spirited
- kinetic
- energetic
- unflagging
- vivacious
- sturdy
- tireless
People have types, somotypes, learning styles and personailty types blah blah blah
This is a true statement, however my type 20 years ago was shy, uncertain, weak, embarressed, immature and lots of the words in the first column. However today none of the above....maybe one immature but i like it.
