Believe this or not, your mind runs everything and your thoughts can change you physically and permanently, for example they can shorten or lengthen your life and make you strong or weak.
Your thoughts totally control your energy arguably as much as the types of food you eat..... interesting
- We are defensive, anxious or nervous and unable to perform well
- because most of our blood has been shunted to our extremities, our cognitive functions are reduced, less clever
- because the blood is redirected from digestion we are getting less nutrients from our food, therefore providing less energy and not repairing our body
- again when our brains in defensive or worry overdrive, we cant sleep properly and if this is a long term thing our life can be shortened.
- we will be producing way more of the stress hormone cortisol which counters our positive hormones such as testosterone, even if you eat a healthy diet cortisol makes that diet unhealthy. some coaches call this the cortisol soup effect, a healthy meal washed down with cortisol soup.
- Food is much more important than exercise (fact)
- Hormones are much more important than exercsie (fact)
- Mind state is more important than all of the above (fact)
So when we are messed up and we want to look better, but we are deeply unhappy we NEED to focus on mind state and putting our head on the right place.
Sometimes you need a mediacl professional, other times someone to listen or someone that understands talking therapies and NLP.
